This is a nail for any NFL-CFL unity. Most likely the New USFL will be the NFL’s minor league.
The United States Football League is back. Reports have next Spring of 2013 as the return. Many of those in the world don’t remember this league.
This was a league that scared the crap out of the NFL. The USFL had a real chance of competing with the NFL. This was the only league to do so. It’s first two years had giant crowds and a huge following.

For those craving football this summer, more Canadian Football League games will be available on the NFL Network.
The CFL and NFL Network announced Tuesday that two games per week would be broadcast in the United States this season. The NFL Network also has the option to show additional regular-season games, the CFL playoffs and the Grey Cup championship game.
CFL fans in North America are stocking up the kegs.
The NFL Network carried 14 CFL games last season.
The CFL also announced Tuesday that all its games will be aired on ESPN3

Why do the Vikings deserve a new venue? What have they done?
In their 50 year history they have produced zero Super Bowl victories. They have produced four Super Bowl losses. They have produced several embarrassing playoff choke jobs.
If you live in Minnesota you have to constantly deal with Packer oppression. The Packers have 13 titles along with 4 Super Bowl victories.
The Packers have Lambeau Field.
Vikings have the Metro Dome.
Packer fans own the team.
Vikings have an owner from New Jersey.
Packer fans out number Viking fans in Minnesota.
Packer gear out sells Vikings in Minnesota.
The Packers get an extra home game in Minneapolis when 40,000 Green and Gold fans show up at the Metro Dome.
The Packers are 8-0 and may go undefeated. The Vikings are 2-6 and blow.

Who wants to spend millions of dollars to build a new venue for a team that loses. Who wants to spend millions of dollars to build a venue so Packer fan can enjoy?

People in Minnesota love Hockey. People in Minnesota should not fear losing an NFL team.

See Baltimore, Cleveland and Houston.
Baltimore lost the Colts.

Cleveland lost the Browns.
Cleveland gained the new Browns.
Minnesota will(I repeat) gain another football team.

The honorable Mayor of Minneapolis has proposed another idea for a venue.
Mayor R.T. Rybak would like a stadium built-in Minneapolis. Guess where? Downtown.
Wow.
What a suggestion.
Sarcasm alert.
There is a perfectly sound venue already near Downtown Minneapolis. It’s called the Metrodome. Folks who don’t understand, this venue is located a few miles from the Downtown area.
The Mayor even suggested they name the new venue Minnesota Stadium. Sounds familiar.
Minnesota Stadium already exists, it’s called the Metrodome. BTW there is a public transportation stop on this location.
Gamedays have an alternate transportation mode.
Why the confusion?
It’s so simple.
Fix up the Dome.
Take 100 million and renew the 30-year-old venue. Re-name while you’re at it.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, Zygi Wilf is not for Minnesota. If he was, he would have trumpted his desire to stay. He wouldn’t be tormenting the citizens with threat of a move.
The economy is cruel. He knows it. Minnesota can’t afford a new venue, he knows it.
Minnesota is having funding issues. He knows it. He is playing off of it. Like a kid wanting a bag of candy from his Mommy. Or a little boy demanding 25 cents from his parents for a gumball.
Don’t you love mind-games?
Minnesota should have some backbone and tell Zygi to take a long long walk. I have stated before, the Vikings can and will be replaced if they leave.
Once again the Viking history has been nothing but misery in the North Star state.
Who would replace them? A CFL or another NFL team(Hint: Rams) no doubt Minnesota will rebound.

It is time to depart from this franchise? The Vikings history has
been nothing but pain and misery. The Metro Dome collapse was a symbol of the
end of the Purple and Gold in Minnesota.
Viktor the
Viking has become an offensive mascot. Kids and some adults scream when he gets near.
What are the Vikings treacherous moments in history?
5. 1987 NFC
Championship game. The Vikings had a shot to tie this game and push into
over time. However a dropped pass on the Redskins 6 year line would turn the
downs over to Washington. The Skins would run the clock out and win
17-10.
4. Hershel Walker deal. 8 draft picks along with 5 veteran players
were sent to Dallas. The Cowboys would win three Super Bowls and
the Vikings would go no where with Hershel.
3. 2000 NFC Championship blow out. Giants would stomp the Vikings
early, putting away any hopes of another Super Bowl run.
2. 1998 NFC Championship Game. The Vikings went 15-1 in the season.
The Vikings had home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Vikings would
choke in this game and lose to the Falcons in over
time.
1.2009 NFC Championship. The Vikings were one play away from winning
this game and going to the Super Bowl. Even with Brett Favre the Vikings still
choke.
It’s time.
I have a potential team to replace the Vikings.
The Jaguars.

It can be done.
We even have the division adjustments ready.
If the Jaguars should relocate to Minnesota what Division would the
be in? You can’t have a Northern team in a Southern division.

been masterfully using Ramsey County as a tool to get Los Angeles to sweeten the deal.

Farmers Field(The Proposed name for the Los Angeles venue)
is offering 800 million to a billion to pay for the stadium.
Arden Hills is offering only 300 million. The Minnesota residents don’t want to pay for this venue at
all.

The venom that is coming out bt locals is amazing. Even Mary Tyler Moore has burned her Viking
jersey.
If you were Zygi, what would you do?
The Vikings would
double in value with the name “Los Angeles’ added as their home.
The Vikings would draw full capacity crowds in Los

the winter.

The Vikings are like the little brother who continues to be a
complete failure.

You see –Packer fans actually don’t want the Vikings to leave, you

It’s wonderful to live in Minnesota –and
be able to watch the Packers every week on local TV.
It’s like a before and after picture–when compared to the
Vikings.
